Hi....
Been a long time to post something.
Work is on normal flow, Life gets better, but still I don't have things to write on the blog.
Oh well, this month is the third month of my Accutane Journey. Yeay! It is almost done baby, almost!!!
I woke up everyday with only one acne, even sometimes found none. No more hurt or itchy feeling on my face. And the best part is my self esteem increasing! I am happy girl!
I am now started to wearing make up, and have guts to face the mirror
and camera. Eye contact with people, having a presentation at work, and
go out with friends.
I started to get acnes at October 2012, and it is now getting to heal on October 2013.
What a loooong year huh! Not only sacrificed feeling, but also money!
Don't ask me about shopping or saving. This year was soooo... you know. :(
The effect of Accutane is started to calm down. Lost appetite- previously I lost 8 kilos, but now I am back to my normal weight. Dry skin and lips- thanks to Vaseline petroleum jelly (seriously I can't live without this!) and Body Shop butter cream.
But still it is not over yet. The acne marks are everywhere, the scars are still there. I still have a lot to do. I'm working on that.
To the girl out there who suffered from acne, I got you, Darl! I know how it feels. Be patient, stick to your medicine, even it gets worst. And plug your ears to negative comments. That's the key.
We don't live to fulfill society definition of beauty. I ain't born to impressed people.
So stay happy!

My Accutane Journey - 2nd Month
Haloo....
Today is my second month of accutane.
Second month yeaay!
Improvements? YES!!
It may be a little, but I am happy enough!
Forehead done, jawline done, only some acnes at skin near nose and lips.
Feels like the sunshine is coming back to my life. lol!
My second month was not easy. I heard most people stops breaking in third weeks, but I still got so many pimples even in week.
The key is patient and never give up!
Do not stop your medicine. Just don't. It may be (well it is) seems WORST at weeks.
But trust me, it's your skin adapting. Stick to it, do not stress or depressed (this is important).
Stress is number one cause of pimples.
For me, I'm trying to distract myself. I read so many books, watch horror movies, (horror movies keeps me sleep earlier, because I don't wanna awake at midnight to avoid paranoia. haha, it works-for several days only.), and play guitar to keep my hands busy-get that away from my skin face.
And don't forget to close your ears to negative comments, and put those mirrors away.
Well, it still need loong loong journey ahead.
I still need lipbalm and petroleum jelly. Camera and mirrors are still my biggest enemy.
But..... (inhale exhale) I'm enjoying this process.
Hope I'll be back with big biiigg improvements next month.
Bye!

My Accutane Journey - 1st Month
Halo everyone.
This is a continuity of my previous post "Pimples Drama".
So, you guys better check this first: http://springonvenus.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Yesterday, I've been through the Accutane Treatment for a month. The first excruciating-month. Literally, I mean it.
You may think this post is exaggerating. But trust me do not comment until you walk in my shoes.
My face getting more itchy, burn, and hurt day by day. Not to mention the lost appetite, hair loss, and mental problem.
On the first and second week, I got the worst breakout on my entire life. I can't barely feel my skin face, its all cover with acne! Then this big girl locked herself at home, cried over and over. I was at home on Ied vacation. Mom and Dad were so worried about my condition.
The most excruciating time is on morning, when I'm using acne lotion and sunscreen. Feels like there are thousand ants walking on my face.
I read on the internet that this is normal. Accutane will caused acne worst at first, but it will work after third month.
Then here it comes, the first day at work, after vacation.
I got a sleepless night, because over thinking. Tried to composed the answer of "what happens to your face?" "Oh, my God, it's getting worst!" "Shasa kenapa?" "Kok bisa sih Sha?" "Coba ke dokter ini deh....bla bla bla..."
On the day, these things really happened. But I'm stronger than I thought I would be.
I answered the questions with smiles.
Day by day getting more and more hard.
Dry skin, dry lips, I handled it before it comes. Petroleum Jelly, lip balm, body lotion, and mineral water are my best friends.
I lost 4 kilos because of lost appetite. Which I don't really happy, because my weight was on normal scale! And now I'm officially underweight.
I can't exposed to sunlight. It burns and become red. I avoid more eye contact with people. I turn aside from crowd. I put my head down when the elevator opens. I feel like everyone is whispering on my back saying "that's a poor thing happens to that girl's face..."
Camera? Oh just don't ask me.
Feels like I'm shrinking to the corner of my office room, or hoping take a long holiday in a cave on desert island until my skin face back to normal.
Reading a forum about accutane treatment really makes me feeling better. All I can do is stick to it, be patient, and closed my ears. Because this thing need long time, 6 months!
I'm trying so hard not to get stress and depressed, because another trouble will come to me if I do.
I really hope my skin back like it used to be, just like 9 months ago.
Good thing needs time.
